My primary Goal is to be a versatile Content specialist with a brand-first mentality.
My professional journey began at Boise State University where I studied and received a bachelor's degree in business management (B.B.A) with a minor in international business. During my undergrad, I worked as a Student photographer for Boise state visual services, and as a graphic design/photography intern with Boise state football, where I quickly learned that I wanted to pursue a career as a photographer and videographer. As a student, I took every opportunity to learn from those around me, grow my skill set, and guide my peers.
After graduation, I accepted a position as a graduate assistant within the Boise State Athletics creative services department. Since then I have been elevated to a full-time position as the Boise state assistant director of creator services (post-production). my time working my way up the ranks from an intern to a full-time employee within Boise state provided me an excellent opportunity to work as a creative in an exponentially expanding athletic department.
From this, I have learned and made mistakes. Of all the lessons I have learned perhaps the most important one is — to set goals and collaborate with those around you to reach help reach those goals. Now, within Boise State Creative Services as the assistant director, I help coordinate, direct, and execute various social media, in-venue, and marketing content while maintaining branding and social standards set by Boise state university. An essential part of this position is working with multiple teams and departments to unite and accomplish shared goals.
from a creative standpoint, I am constantly pushing myself by experimenting with ideas when appropriate while tracking engagement and metrics from each piece I create to learn to create more engaging content.
Every step of my professional journey has made me a more knowledgeable and versatile content specialist. I cannot wait to share more of my experiences as the years go by. Thank you for taking the time to get to know a little bit about me and visiting my website.
